DKMS Foundation India has developed terms and conditions for donations as a part of our commitment to honor and respect the financial contributions.

Who can donate?

All Indian citizens and companies registered in India can donate. NRIs having bank accounts in India, can donate.

Who can’t donate?

Donations from foreign sources will not be acceptable. NRIs who don’t have Indian bank accounts or NRE accounts will not be accepted.

Can I donate in cash?

DKMS Foundation India does not accept cash donations.

How can I donate?

Donations can be made via online, cheque or demand draft.

How do I know my personal details are secured?

We follow strict data protection policy. Donor details will remain confidential with us. The records only be disclosed to the government officials if and when asked.

Can I make an anonymous donation?

We do not accept anonymous donation. It’s important to follow KYD method (Know Your Donor), which means donor identity, address and the purpose of the donation has to be for social cause.

Will I get a tax benefit on the donation?

If you are an Indian taxpayer, donations to DKMS-BMST, are eligible for 50% tax exemption under Section 80(G).

How do I claim tax exemption (80G) certificate?

Donor who would wish to claim and receive 80G certificate, the PAN details would need to be added.

Why do I need to enter my PAN and Aadhar no. details?

Permanent Identification Number (PAN) and Aadhar no. of a donor are mandatory if the donation is over and above INR 50,000/-.

When do I receive 80G certificate?

For onetime donation, 80G certificate can be generated within 10 business days.
